IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ATTENDEES

In preparation for the 5th Australian Landfill & Transfer Stations Conference & Expo, please find below some information for your perusal prior to your arrival.

A hardcopy of the final Event Program including Exhibitor Details and a Delegates List will be provided when you collect your name tag from the registration desk.

REGISTRATION DESK
When you arrive at the 5th Australian Landfill & Transfer Stations Conference & Expo, please proceed to the registration desk in the Pavilion Convention Centre in Jupiters Gold Coast.

The Registration Desk will be open between the following hours:

Wed 7th August 7.30am - 8.30am
5.00pm - 7.00pm
Thu 8th August 8.00am - 4.30pm
Fri 9th August 8.30am - 3.00pm

ACCOMMODATION
WMAA has arranged fixed conference rates at Jupiters Gold Coast (5 star) of $199.00 per room per night for a Superior Room. For details and booking instructions please click here.

Please note these rates are guaranteed until Sunday 7 July 2013. Bookings made after 7 July will be accepted based on availability the discounted rates are not guaranteed after this time.
PARKING
Jupiters Hotel & Casino offers a secure, undercover car park free of charge to all guests using the facilities. A validation system is in place to deliver easier, safer and faster parking.

Absolute Rewards members (Jupiters Hotel & Casino Gold Coast, Treasury Casino & Hotel Brisbane, The Star Sydney and Jupiters Townsville) can simply swipe their membership card on entry and exit.

Other guests can have their parking ticket validated on property - simply collect a ticket on entry to the carpark and validate it using the machines in the Pavilion Gallery prior to departure. Please ask Jupiters Events staff for assistance if required.

Please note car parking is subject to availability. Hotel guest parking, accessible by the use of guest room keys, and valet parking are also available at a nominal cost.

DIRECTIONS TO VENUE
a) From Gold Coast Highway

If you are travelling South (ie. from Surfers Paradise), at Broadbeach, turn right from the Gold Coast Highway into T.E. Peters Drive and proceed to the first roundabout. Take the first exit. You will then cross the north bridge to Broadbeach Island. Follow the signs to enter the carpark.

b) Northern Access

If you are travelling North (i.e. from Coolangatta Airport), at Broadbeach, turn left from the Gold Coast Highway into T.E. Peters Drive and proceed to the first roundabout. Take the first exit. You will then cross the north bridge to Broadbeach Island. Follow the signs to enter the carpark.

c) Access from Hooker Boulevard (Nerang-Broadbeach Road)

If you are travelling along Hooker Boulevard (e.g. from Nerang) as you enter Broadbeach you will see a large shopping centre - Pacific Fair - on the right hand side of the road. Proceed past Pacific Fair and look for the Jupiters sign (indicating a left turn). Take the left turn - you will cross the south bridge to Broadbeach Island. Follow the signs to enter the carpark.

MEETING ROOM
A complimentary meeting room is available for attendees to use on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th August.  The room fits up to 18 people and times will be allocated in 30 minute intervals.

Availability is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
BUSINESS CENTRE
24-hour photocopying and facsimile transmission services are available. There is no charge for incoming facsimiles and reasonable surcharges for outgoing facsimiles and telephone calls. Information as to photocopying fees are available on request.

For the use of a computer with internet access, Jupiters' Business Centre operates 24 hours a day. Costs are incurred through time spent in the Centre. (Communal room for house guests, see Hotel Reception for access).
WORKSHOP (Tuesday, 6 August)
Registration for the Landfill Gas Workshop will open at 8.30am on Tuesday, 6 August. Please proceed directly to the Poker Room at Jupiters Gold Coast (the Registration Desk in the Pavilion Convention Centre will not be open at this time).
TECHNICAL TOURS (Wednesday, 7 August)
Please be reminded that closed-in footwear and long pants are required for both tours.

Delegates should have completed registration and assemble in the Pavilion Foyer for departure at the following times:

Technical Tour 1 8.00am
Technical Tour 2 8.15am

Lunch and light snacks will be provided on the technical tours.

WELCOME RECEPTION

Dress: Casual (jeans acceptable)
Cost: Included in Package 1, 2 & 3 Registrations, Additional tickets $75

Relax after a long day on a technical tour or at the Landfill & Transfer Stations Field Day with an ice cold beer or a glass of wine. Join your colleagues for a leisurely evening of networking while previewing the trade exhibition.

CONFERENCE DINNER
Date: Thursday 8 August 2013
Time: 1900 - late, A shuttle bus will transfer delegates from Jupiters to SeaWorld from 6.30pm
Venue: Venue: SeaWorld Water Park
Dress: Dress: Smart Casual, Partners are welcome.
Note - Ladies wishing to go on the rides may prefer to wear trousers.
Cost: Included in Package 1, 2 & 3 Registrations, Additional tickets $160

Delight in the unique and wondrous ‘Imagine’ Dolphin show . Set to a beautiful musical score and featuring a series of exciting interactions, 'Imagine' is both educational and entertaining. A selection of Sea World’s thrilling rides will then be available for those who dare. Enjoy the adventure and exhilaration of the Sea Viper Roller Coaster and Jet Rescue. Guests will then enjoy an buffet style dinner served alfresco style in the Plaza.

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
Conference proceedings will be available online approximately 14 days after the conference. Delegates will be sent an email with a link and their individual password to access the proceedings.
