The ultimate aim is to have similar groups formed in the other Australian states and link them together to share knowledge, ideas and technology by forming a National Division under the WMAA. This will be the seventh National Division under WMAA and the group will be able to collaborate with several of these Divisions to help in identify solutions. In particular the Divisions of Energy from Waste, Construction and Demolition, Commercial and Industrial and Compost Australia.
WMAA is the National Member representing Australia on the International Solid Waste Association and as such has overseas connections with other Waste Management Associations in more than 40 countries around the world.
