| Operating since 1991, the Waste Management Association of Australia (WMAA) is Australia’s leading Association for waste management professionals with over 1000 members and representing more than 3000 individuals in the waste and resource recovery industry.
The WMAA is striving to become a leader in knowledge management by disseminating information and facilitating discussion and debate. WMAA is not a lobby group.
Membership is wide-ranging and multi-disciplinary, including stakeholders from State and Local Governments, operators, industry, environmental consultancies, collectors, recyclers, transporters, researchers, manufacturers, designers, generators, educators, community groups and many more.
The network of State Branches, National Divisions and State Working Groups provide the opportunity for networking, communication and service delivery at both local and topic-specific levels. |

| The Waste Management Institute of New Zealand (WasteMINZ) is a non-profit organisation that was formed in 1989 to promote sustainable waste management practices for the benefit of all New Zealanders. Our primary function is to provide a forum for presentation and dissemination of information and to act as a facilitator for the waste management industry in New Zealand.
The organisation accomplishes these goals by hosting an annual conference, conducting regular workshops and seminars, publishing a newsletter titled Waste Awareness, sector groups, sharing information, and providing networking opportunities for our members. In addition, WasteMINZ works closely with other organisations that also have interests and goals in specialized areas within the waste management field. |

Established on 8th of August 2001, the Waste Management and Recycling Association of Singapore (WMRAS) aims to professionalise and develop a leading waste management and recycling industry in Asia.
With the aim to promote business networking opportunities and best practices amongst members, the Association has been organising activities such as talks, mission trips, conferences, exhibitions and members get together sessions etc.
To foster information exchange, the Association has organised regular dialogue sessions with relevant authorities to keep members updated on the regulatory and policies developments.Meetings with the Ministry of Environment, National Environment Agency, SPRING Singapore, JTC Corporation has allowed members to feedback their concerns and discuss how the public and private sectors could work together to address these needs. Members are also informed regularly with the latest industry updates through newsletters and publications. |
